Returning for a third outing this year, Cold Recordings is proud to present two uncompromising darkside techno cuts
from rising star, Jack Gibbons aka Ipman. Having finely tuned his studio skills – working frequently with production partner Killawatt to produce killer dubstep releases on Tempa and Boka, and solo releases for the likes of Krytptic Minds’ widely respected Osiris imprint – Ipman has left a heavily weighted footprint on 2013 already.
Moving away from the 140bpm tempo, Jack maintains all the edginess and technical wizardry of his formidable dubstep cuts and reapplies them at 128bpm. ‘Ventricle’ swells with metallic venom – alien textures throbbing and oscillating to a panic inducing build before dropping into a demented but pounding rhythm set to take your body and mind to Mars and back.
‘Decomposer’ holds a similar sonic and tone. Dark, explorative techno of percussive persuasion, designed to send your head away but leave the rest of your body on the dance floor.
This release comes as a 12” vinyl, packaged in die-cut, double sided print sleeves, shrink wrapped.
Support vinyl, support the underground.
